Every season in Cape May brings different reasons to visit but fall in particular is a favorite among many. The crowds are a bit lighter, the weather is still pleasant and enjoyable, and the foliage is beautiful. This one is for you foodies out there – the Cape May Restaurant Weekend!
Every summer in June locals and visitors alike enjoy Cape May Restaurant Week – a full eight-day food extravaganza. Since it is no fun to wait a full 12 months for this great event, folks can enjoy Cape May Restaurant Weekend. This is a shorter, scaled-down, but still highly enjoyable version that lasts four days. This year it will be taking place November 3-6, 2016. Over the course of the weekend, participating restaurants will be offering three-course dinner menus at only $35 per person. At a minimum you will be offered your choice from three appetizers, four entrées, and three dessert selections. It is important to note that beverages, tax, and gratuity are not included in the fixed price—however this is still a great deal!
Our local chefs pull out all of the stops to create fabulous dishes for this special weekend event. You can still order from the restaurant’s standard menu as well. While this is not a ticket event, it is recommended that you make dinner reservations where that option is available. This year some of the participating restaurants include Aleathea’s, Black Duck on Sunset, Fins Bar and Grill, Lobster House, That’s Amore, and Union Park Restaurant.
