The Carroll Villa Hotel is centrally located in Victorian Cape May, New Jersey. The historic building was constructed as a hotel in 1882, and we have been accommodating people ever since. We are a child-friendly Cape May, NJ hotel. Not just a hotel, we are a Cape May bed and breakfast! Receive a breakfast voucher to the Mad Batter Restaurant, located on our first floor, and 30% off for dinner with your stay. All our rooms have private bathrooms within the room, except rooms 5 &10 which have private bathrooms down the hall.
Please note: Since we are a historic hotel (built in 1882) on a historic street, we do not have parking on the premises. Because we have chosen to offer free parking, we provide our house guests with permits for the municipal lot on Bank Street, just three blocks down. Elevators are not available due to the historic nature of the building. Most of our rooms are on the second and third floors. Breakfast is not offered Tuesdays, Wednesdays, or Thursdays in January & February.
Room 28: Two-Room Suite
Features a Queen bed, two separate rooms and a private entrance. Private bathroom with shower. Third floor.
Room 20: First Floor
Our only room on the first floor, with private porch and 1 Queen bed. Private bathroom with shower.
Rooms 4, 6: King
Larger rooms on our second floor with 1 King bed and a sitting area. Double occupancy. Private bathroom with shower.
Rooms 1, 13, 21: Large Queen
Our larger rooms with 1 Queen bed and a sitting area. All feature double occupancy. Private bathroom with shower. Rooms 1, 4, and 21 are on the second floor. Room 13 is on the third floor.
Rooms 9, 31, 34: Rooms for Families
Our Family Rooms sleep between 3 and 4 people. Private bathroom with shower. Room 9 is on the second floor. Rooms 31 and 34 on third floor.
Rooms 14, 16, 18, 26: Standard Queen
These rooms feature Queen beds. Private bathroom with shower. Rooms 14, 16, 18 on third floor. Room 26 on second floor.
Rooms 8, 11, 19, 23, 25: Standard Full
Small rooms with full (double) size bed. Private bathroom with shower. Rooms 8, 23, and 25 second floor. Rooms 11, 19 third floor.
Rooms 5 and 10: Full-Size
Small rooms with full (double) size bed and private bathrooms located outside the room. You are the only user for the bathroom and the only one with the key for it. Bath robes are provided for your convenience. (Bring your own flip flops!)
