Room Amenities

All of our guest rooms have TVs, telephones, air conditioning, free wireless Internet access, private baths, and are iPod friendly. Additionally, we provide hair dryers, bathroom toiletries, irons and ironing boards. Rooms with queen or king-size beds also have refrigerators. New this year: beach umbrellas and beach chairs are now available. We are a non-smoking hotel. Due to the historic nature of the building, we do not have an elevator and are walk-up only.

Arrival

When you arrive at our hotel, please pull into the guest unloading zone just across from the front entrance, set your flashers, and come inside for check in where we will direct you to parking.

If you are plan on arriving later than 9:00 p.m., please call the hotel ahead of time so that we can explain our late arrival procedure.

Dining

A $30 breakfast voucher for use in The Mad Batter Restaurant is included in the nightly room rate. During the winter months of January and February, breakfast is offered Friday through Monday only, and is subject to the restaurant’s hours of operation. The restaurant is closed on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

Hotel guests receive a 30% discount on the purchase of dinner entrees at our restaurant (excluding alcohol.) Please check MadBatter.com for hours, menus, and to make your reservation.

Beach Access

Our Cape May, NJ hotel is located only a half block from the beach, and in the Summer season, we provide towels for the beach in your room. We also provide beach chairs and umbrellas starting Memorial day. WEATHER PERMITTING!!

Beach Service: Steger’s Beach Only.
Starts on Memorial Day Weekend.
Weekends only until the 3rd week in June when full service starts.
Decatur Street opens July 1^st.
We also supply beach tags for access to the beach.

Carroll Villa Hotel graciously welcomes all guests. Carroll Villa Hotel is listed on the National Register of Historic Places under the National Historic Preservation Act (16 U.S.C. 470 et seq.) or is designated as historic under State or local law (§ 36.405 Alterations: Historic preservation.). Thus, we are not able to offer handicap accessible accommodations since such alterations would destroy the historical significance of the property.

Here are items to note about our property:

• Parking/Loading Zone – We do not have onsite parking. We have a loading zone across the street where our guests can unload. If you have a handicap plaque or license plate, you can park at a meter for free.
• Exterior Routes/Building Entrances/Lobby – We do not have a handicap exterior route, handicap entrance, ramp, or lobby ADA features.
• Interior Routes – We do not have an elevator, stairs only; therefore, there is no wheelchair access throughout the property.
• Public/Common Restrooms – We do not offer ADA features in any of our restrooms.
• Interior Signs – We include signage for our public restroom, fire exits, boiler room, guest rooms, restaurant, and hotel. We do not have signage for our stairway.
• Food Service Areas – We do not offer ADA features in our food service areas.
• Guest Rooms – We do not offer handicap accessible rooms.
