Holiday Lights Trolley Rides – One way to take in the festive sights of the Victorian-style homes and various inns is on a trolley ride through town. Take a relaxing trip through the historic district of Cape May. Friendly, local guides will share all about the Christmas traditions of the area and might even lead you in a sing-a-long! These trolley rides last approximately 30 minutes.

Cheery Cherry House Christmas Tour – Take a step back in time in this 168-year old privately-owned home. The Cherry House is located on one of Cape May’s oldest streets and opens for the holidays for a special Christmas Tour. See over a dozen stunningly decorated rooms, the parlor Christmas tree boasting family decorations from the 1800s, and the impressive Dickens Village. Tickets are $10; children (under age 10) free. Tours will be open from December 16-19, from 1pm-3pm and December 20 from 7pm-9pm.

East Lynne Theater Co. Presents: The Great Tree and Other Tales by Zona GaleThis show features American classic Christmas stories adapted and performed by Gayle Stahlhuth. Enjoy an evening of master storytelling that will stir up the holiday spirit. Shows are Dec. 8, 12, 13, 14 at 8:00 pm and a Saturday matinee, Dec. 14 at 2:00 pm

Christmas Candlelight House Tours – Enjoy a self-guided walking tour that takes you by the most spectacular inns, churches, hotels, and homes beautifully decorated for the holiday season. Along the way be greeted by strolling carolers and musicians. Various hospitality centers will be offering warm beverages & home-baked goodies. Also, your tickets includes admission to the Emlen Physick Estate, and to “An Old-fashioned Christmas” exhibit in the Carroll Gallery. This year the dates for the Candlelight House Tours are December 7th, 14th, and 28th from 5:30pm to 8:30pm. Because these tours are popular you will want to reserve your spot early!
