Do not for one minute think that summer is the only time to visit Cape May, NJ; we are still buzzing as the leaves change colors! With Jazz Festivals, Oktoberfest, and history-themed weekends, we have several festivals to celebrate this fall! Here is your guide to Cape May fall festivals!
If you are contemplating a visit, book early! You will surely not be the only one to think about making a leaf-peeping drive to the end of the New Jersey Turnpike! And, besides the festivals, it is one of the best times of year for both bird watching and whale watching!
26th Annual Airfest at NASW
September 2-5, 10am – 4pm
Naval Airstation Wildwood Aviation Museum | 500 Forrestal Rd, Cape May NJ
Come and see the Classic Jet Aircraft Association flying in, landing, and doing a meet and greet with the crowd. Visit the museum, and enjoy live music, food, drink, and vendors.
Revolutionary and Civil War Encampment

Come and see authentically clad and equipped American Revolution and Civil War reenactors bring history to life. See encampments, weaponry, and demonstrations on both days at Historic Cold Spring Village.
Harvest Brewfest

Come and join us in a celebration of all things local, but especially craft beer! There will be local artisans, musical talent, and food! Proceeds assist with the restoration of the Emlen Physick Estate.
Oktoberfest

The 29th Annual Pumpkin Festival is a family-friendly event to celebrate all things pumpkin. Enjoy pumpkin painting and games. Visit the crafters. Enjoy hot dogs, funnel cakes, and other fun food available throughout the event.
75th Cape May Fall Festival

Sponsored by the New Jersey Audobon Society, the 75th Cape May Fall Festival includes an exhibit hall full of artists, international touring companies, and Nature Nick. Sign up for field trips, trolley trips, and boat trips.
